Positive: A gem of a location, tranquil, fantastic countryside, and relaxing facilities. Foxglove Hut is quaint, stylish & colourful.Quality fixtures, a truly large and comfy bed, with a cracking maritime twist to its discovery. Slept perfectly. Ample room outside with decking, chairs and privacy privets. A place that allows you to refresh, for sure!

Negative: Nothing we didn’t like. Maybe the weather (lol) One suggestion, it would be helpful if there was a small light or switch provided by the bed, saving you having to get up to switch off the lights.

Summary: A treasure of a place, cosy, quaint and full of comfort in a truly peaceful piece of Northumberland

Positive: We loved the comfy bed, and having everything to hand in the kitchen. The shephards hut had great storage for bags, heated easily, had lovely views and whilst it shared the site with other huts, it was discrete. Lovely welcome from the owners too. Wifi and/or data was patchy, but to be expected given the location.

Negative: The shower was a bit sensitive (run on eco to maintain temp) with limited pressure. But the taps in the kitchen and bathroom was fine.

Positive: Wonderful location for a very chilled break, ideal for those with dogs or horses. Owner Rachel is a brilliant host; attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable and clearly gets as much joy from seeing her guests having a good time as they do. Ideally placed for the Northumbrian coast and situated in an area of dark skies which is perfect for star spotting and the aurora borealis. Comfy hut but still plenty of space, very cosy quilt meant lying in bed looking out at the wildlife became the best start to the days.
