Positive: Our rental included a kitchen that most people only dream of. Every piece of equipment inside and outside was at our disposal. Every cupboard was fully stocked with all types of utensils, things to cook and bake with, and a cupboard full seasonings and spices. The kitchen had a wine fridge and on the decks was a large grill, a fire pit and an outdoor stove. On the decks were multiple seating opportunities so you can chat or gaze at the amazing stars. The home includes a roomy living room next to a beautiful live edge dining table, all of which is connected to the kitchen so that everyone can chat and be a part of the gathering. There is a really nice laundry room and a powder room on the main floor also. The master suite has a king Sleep Number bed, a large dresser and 2 large closets, all attached to the most amazing bathroom with a shower large enough for relaxing showers with 3 shower heads. There is a TV and fireplace. The room has a sliding glass door that leads onto the deck right next to the hot tub - what a dream come true! The second bedroom has a queen bed with a Sleep number mattress, a TV, and a pretty bathroom with a shower and bath tub. The second floor (her apartment, as our grown daughter referred to the upstairs) was so well thought out with multi-purpose areas - a wall full of book shelves with books and games, Yoga mats and equipment, seating around a chess board, a TV, an adjustable single bed, a rollaway bed and a single sleep sofa. There is a beautiful bathroom with a shower and a skylight. The "apartment" has a TV and separate air conditioning and a small fireplace. We took a brief walk up the back of the property before it rained and we saw a young deer napping nearby. The fruit trees are almost all full of fruit, which just added to how relaxing and restful this rental property truly is.

Negative: I really cannot think of a thing that I would have wished for. I made reservations at 3 different hotel chains and I had issues with each one and then as I was looking for yet another option I stumbled on this house and took a chance and we all were over the moon when we drove up the drive - and then it just kept getting better and better. I only wish we had been able to spend more than two nights, but there will be other opportunities.

Positive: This once-in-a-lifetime location is just stunning. This is a dream house with great views, lots of space; modern but also warm furnishings, a great outside space. It is a true home away from home. The house is equipped with a variety of luxuries, like separate bathrooms in the various chambers, 2 ovens in the kitchen, a big jacuzzi, a very large garden, everything brand new and just over the top nice like you won’t find in any other location. As if that was not enough, the wildlife is very charming from the fireflies at night to the many deer roaming the forest edge around the property and the many birds that nest here. We truly enjoyed our stay and the house allowed us to relax and have a wonderful time here. We were welcomed very much by the hosts and are grateful that we could spend our holiday midweek here.
