Positive: Cooked breakfast was freshly made to order, local butter was lovely and enough cereal to choose from.
Negative: The dog friendly room allocated for our 3 night stay needed updating and some fixtures were in a state of disrepair. ie) bathroom radiator, bathroom taps on the tiled wall were loose. Shower screen had no rubber seal so water kept leaking out onto the bathroom floor. The wood sink worktop was worn with some black mould. The sofa had sunk down.
Summary: Good hospitality, good food but the dog friendly room was below standard for a 4 star pub.
