Summary: Lovely hotel, staff welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room (6), was clean, modern, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a great view over the front garden and rear fields too. Breakfast was basically anything you wanted cooked, I defy anyone can eat a whole one of their omelettes, I reckon they have 6 eggs in they’re so big!!! We stayed here as we were doing the Gavin and Stacey tour; we got a cab into Barry on the tour morning (£15) and it was an amazing trip, you even end up at the hotel for a welcome break. We walked into Barry the next day (mainly to walk off the breakfast) and took the train into Cardiff, it took about an hour and was an easy and safe walk. If you’re looking for a great hotel on the outskirts of town, then I would totally recommend staying here!

Summary: The water had an emergency shutoff which resulted in delays in showering and we missed out on our Sunday family outing. Staff did leave a note and bottled water which was considerate. Breakfast service was a little strange, no-one brought menus or offered tea while I waited for my partner to join me. The manager was a high point though lovely, professional and helpful. We were well informed about the water situation & it’s not their fault that occurred.

Summary: The room was really good very comfortable and clean.. staff were amazing bar had an excellent choice ..food was well prepared and tasty would definitely recommend the breakfast delicious looking forward to coming back..

Summary: We had tickets to see Super Furry Animals in Cardiff and decided staying outside of the city was better value - a lovely room, free parking and a delicious breakfast. It was only a 15 minute drive into Cardiff. Our only issue was that we were awoken at 6am on Sunday morning by the people staying next door - I think they must have had an early flight and were heading to the airport - I can't think why else you would be awake so early on a Sunday!

Summary: We were in Room One which was clean and laid out well. The staff were all so friendly and so helpful. Breakfast was really good plenty of choice and good quality food. We went out during the day but ate there every night and the food was really good nothing was too much trouble. The price we paid for our three night stay was so reasonable and would definitely stay there again 😊
