Summary: The grounds were clean and spectacular, and the room was fantastic. We had a garden with a partial ocean view, which was very private. We loved the different pools, restaurants, great drinks, and excellent food. The staff were outstanding, the service was superb, (the bellman Arnulfo [blue eyes] was helpful and stepped up to help out with transportation). Housekeeping noticed that we were celebrating a birthday, and they had a pleasant surprise in the room, complete with balloons and a "Happy Birthday" sign. That made the day even more special; it was just beautiful! Can't wait to go back.

While the resort's beauty and the exceptional staff were highlights, we encountered a few issues that detracted from our overall enjoyment. The pool area, despite its stunning appearance, presented some challenges. We noticed algae at the bottom of the main swimming pool**, which made the surface slippery and a bit concerning. Additionally, a pronounced sewage smell was noticeable even when we were in the main pool, which was quite bothersome. We also felt the pool area was understaffed, making it difficult to get assistance when needed. On a very positive note, the staff was truly amazing. Jonathan by the pool and our concierge Patricia deserve special recognition for their outstanding service and attentiveness. Their dedication significantly enhanced our experience.
