Summary: We stayed here for a girlfriends 3 night weekend get away. We really enjoyed Vern's cabin !!The cabin had everything we needed. It is very peaceful and serene there. We really enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and watching the river. We saw & heard lots of birds, eagles & Blue Herons....Bunnies and a big turtle too. The cabin is not fancy but it is perfect for a get away. Redwing is right there and we had a lot of fun shopping, eating out, and checking out the bluffs. Anthony ( owner) was very helpful. Stay here if there are 3/4 of you.

Summary: We had a great stay at the cabin. It was cozy and comfortable. The views to the river were amazing. We saw eagles and listened to birdsong through open windows. We did run into a few issues (broken coffee pot, trash left by former renter) but the host was very responsive and helped to make it right. Would stay there again.

Summary: This property and home were both equally breathtaking. The views out of every window were just wonderful. To be able to just walk to the water and drop a line in for a few minutes without having to pack a bunch of stuff up was really something for us! I highly recommend.

Summary: Quiet, relaxing, nice view, nicely set up cabin. The only issue we had is that the second bed, with the iron frame, was super squeaky and the trundle bed was not comfortable for my son. Had a good time, enjoyed Red Wing and did some unproductive trout fishing.

Summary: We enjoyed staying at the cabin and watching the wildlife and weather (February snow fall). We had planned to go hiking in Red Wing but the weather was not ideal for it. Instead we shopped, read by the fire, played games and watched the Super Bowl. Very relaxing retreat.
