Summary: Rooms are very nice, modern and clean. Breakfast was terrible. Not what I expected from the usual Portuguese high standards. Shame, other than that it was a nice hotel.

Summary: Recently stayed at four points by Sheraton Matosinhos. The building was in good condition; our room was small, but clean and well-appointed. Most of the staff were friendly, but the receptionist who assisted us with check-in was impatient and rude, and made us feel not welcomed. On the first evening, the shower flooded the bathroom and the bedroom within 2 minutes. The staff kindly delivered many towels, but we had to use them ourselves to gather the water and dry the floors. They were unable to immediately move us to a different room. We would expect a full refund for the first night of our stay, but the manager said most they can offer is 25% off for each night of our stay (2 nights total). Not sure if we will stay there again.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, we stayed for around 10 days. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The rooms and facilities very clean. The hotel itself is in a very convenient location, being a 5 minute walk from the beach, right next to a supermarket and also very close to bus and metro stops. The best thing is that there is a line of around a 100 fish restaurants at a walking distance too.

Summary: This was a return trip to this hotel. It is very comfortable and convenient for stays in the redeveloped area of Matosinhos water front. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, our details being retained on the hotel's system from our last stay. There is a free car park for guests under the hotel, which is super convenient. There for three nights, we slept soundly.
