Positive: We loved the rural location of the cottage. It was so peaceful. Also our kids loved seeing the animals. We did a lot of walking during the day so it was lovely to come back and relax in front of the warm stove with a glass of wine in the evening. We really enjoyed our walk to Boulby Cliffs on our last day. The path towards them starts very close to the cottage.

Negative: Everything was just right!

Negative: On a main road but once you were in the property you didn’t notice.

Positive: It met all our needs. We were staying there to go out on a boat off my mother's birth place which was near by so we could scatter both our parents ashes at sea. As you can imagine it was stressful but at least we could relax

Negative: The weather didn't allow us to go out to see. So we did plan B.

Positive: We loved our stay, it was so peaceful and yet well located. The highlight for our 2 year old was definitely seeing the farm animals every day! We felt like the hosts had thought of everything to make Foulsyke comfortable. Loved the welcome book and even went on a recommended walk from the cottage to Staithes. Overall a great location to explore all along the coast. We’d love to come back soon.

Positive: We have had such a fantastic time this past week in North Yorkshire, staying at the most amazing farm cottage in Foulsyke’s Farm in Loftus. The recommendations, hospitality & generosity were amazing - far exceeding our expectations! To wake up to animals, sheep, goats, chickens, pigs & horses and being able to be around them outside of our days to entertain Bodhi was absolutely amazing!! The property was sympathetically modern, comfortable and cosy & was absolutely immaculate! I have honestly had the most relaxing week & I am definitely going to be returning!! I would recommend to everyone! Thank you again to Foulsykes!

Positive: The cottage is just so homely with plenty of room, a well equipped dining kitchen, large welcoming front room and wood burner, 3 nice sized cozy bedrooms. Luxurious bath and shower. The hospitality is exceptional. We love the location for walks and easy access to Staithes and Whitby whether by bus or car. Our granddaughter was totally caught up with the Goats, pot bellied pigs and horses. This was our second stay and we'll be back again.

Negative: Nothing we didn't like.
