A sweet, little terraced cottage, originally a miner’s cottage, situated in the village of Loftus, a couple of miles from Staithes. With a wood burner and great valley views, this characterful and charming Yorkshire cottage has been lovingly renovated in 2018 to a high standard.

Summary: What a wonderful week we had 16- 23 October 2020..... A lot of thought has gone into Valley View as a holiday let, it is very, very well equipped with everything you need to relax and have a great holiday.... The log burner is fantastic!! The location is spot on... especially for sunrises and sunsets, they are truly awesome! And you don't have to travel far at all to any of the beaches, which are lovely, spacious, and very clean. The local Co-op and Sainsbury's are ideal for provisions for a weeks or more holiday, Joye and Jason have done themselves very proud and the little touches they add to welcome you are absolutely lovely Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: The cottage was lovely, clean and very well presented, in a very quiet location. Very suitable for touring the Nort East Yorkshire and Cleveland area. We had an issue with the downstairs toilet leaving it out of action for the week, which we were informed about when we were on our way. There was a second toilet upstairs however it was a little inconvenient as the stairs are quite steep. The toilet looks as though it will be out of action for some time so may affect those with limited mobility, or if there are four people staying in the cottage. We also had an issue with the shower downstairs while we were there however the owners came out and this was resolved quickly.
