Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It's quiet - almost no traffic or machinery - just bird songs (no nasty noisy miners) and wind. It's very green and well-maintained, with many cute projects: citrus garden, natives garden (we even were allowed to plant a small tree there), koi pond, outdoor pool, fairy lights etc. But the most enjoyable for us was the woodfired sauna, well-built and ready for thorough steam. You'd better be a dog lover, you'd enjoy playing with hosts' 3 dogs roaming around the property, very social, active, friendly, an integral part of the place. You're having a private room with a comfortable bed, and a private accessible bathroom with a very good shower - it's down the hallway. The shared lounge has a nice fireplace, aquariums with colourful fish, and a fully equipped kitchen. The road is paved except a short well-maintained gravel stretch, so easy even for the smallest car. The hosts are very welcoming. Recommended if you want to enjoy a remote vibe in comfort and like dogs - just 12 minutes from A1 and 50 minutes to the beaches following scenic roads with rolling hills. Btw, don't skip the smokehouse when turning from A1 - simple delicious meals and rustic feel.
