Positive: This was our first time visiting the area for a wedding in Pencoed. It is a cosy, quiet and peaceful rural location with all necessities within a 10-15 minute drive. I recommend that if you want a taxi, contact TJ Taxis & see if ‘Mike’ is working as he knows the hosts and knows the location. He was very friendly and helpful. Michaela & Megan were both so friendly, welcoming and knowledgable throughout our stay. We went into Cardiff the first night via the train from Bridgend, went to Porthcawl on the second day before having the wedding on the third day. We really enjoyed the break for this bank holiday weekend and we look forward to coming back the next time we are down this way. For future guests, I recommend that you follow the What3Words location of ///monkey.kick.origin for this accommodation.

Positive: The carriage was amazing, even had a photo book of the transformation of the building, The owners were lovely, introduced them selves, took there time out to have a chat and go tho things even helped set the fire up , even went and bought a cake and card for my son birthday during our stay, Very professional and was made to feel so welcome.. Everything we needed was about 15 mins drive..we went to the beach, walks and take away.. amazing few days away The fire kept the place warm, even a blow heater in the bathroom for that extra bit of warmth My dog loved the enclosed garden 😍 Definitely will be back it was so relaxing We didn't have the lazy spa as my dog loves the water too much ( haha) but I did see the lazy spa and it looks great the set up is amazing.. Photos below..one shows how cosy it was with our dog bed and the fire..the other was taken from bathroom and my dog having a nose..
