Positive: Great location, quiet and has a lovely walk into Henley. The room was clean and comfortable. Food was a little on the pricey side and there was no cooked breakfast. We stayed two nights and housekeeping didn't straighten our room which was fine but we could have done with a top up our refreshments tea/ coffee. The shower cubicle is very tight even for the average sized person (Blue room) although it is a nicely fitted shower room.

Negative: I travel a lot for work and I didn't like the fact a £100 deposit was taken off my card on arrival presumably to cover damages. I have never had this before and it took 3 working days following our departure for it to be returned.

Summary: Great location and a peaceful nights stay.

Positive: Excellent peaceful location a short walk from the Regatta Course and a world away from the noise and bustle. First visit for about 20 years and the place has been refurbished to a good standard possibly justifying the increased cost. Delicious breakfast cooked to order and a fine range of beers in the pub.

Positive: The room was very small and cramped and also the shower was very tight and no comfortable to use

Negative: The checking in experience was very chaotic and in the middle of the restaurant. Also the cost of the breakfast was extortionate for what you got, we opted for the continental and the bread was not fresh and the options weren’t great/limited. The area is beautiful though everything was quite overpriced for what you got
