Summary: We booked The White Hart last minute as part of our anniversary weekend away. We weren’t disappointed! Such a lovely place, staff were friendly on arrival and helpful throughout our stay. We had lunch while we waited to check in, which was lovely. The room we stayed in was very well presented and the bed was very cosy. We will definitely be returning soon! 5⭐️

Summary: The room I had was very tired - actually quite dusty in places, the shower had the black stains in places. I was very disappointed, very. The breakfast was excellent. The check-in at the location was not easy to work out. I stood at the bar for 10 minutes with bags, etc. only to be told to go to a table!

Summary: Room was very clean, in a separate annex from the pub. The food at the White Hart was delicious and generous. Would definitely recommend eating there. The staff were all very friendly and helpful as well.

Summary: I was not looking forward to being asked for a review for the White Hart. However, if a hotel advertises itself as a four star property, one expects a reasonable standard of cleanliness, so please regard the following as 'constructive criticism' rather than just a moan. The bottom of the shower was thick with black mould. A spot of Cillit Bang and some elbow grease would be welcome. There was no plug in the basin. This was more than just an inconvenience, it meant that a small bar of my wife's expensive soap disappeared down it. The patio area was covered in weeds. Having said that, the meals were good. Slightly more attentive staff at breakfast would have been helpful, it would have been nice to be asked if we wanted any more tea or toast.
