Positive: We had the Mill and also The Den. The Mill was fascinating as well as well equipped and comfortable. The Den was cosy and well-equipped. It was lovely to see the animals and fields around. Melanie and Phil were responsive and keen to help in any way we needed

Negative: There were a lot of stairs in the Mill which our elderly mothers struggled with a bit and it might have been better to know in advance that it’s not possible to avoid stairs - there’s a flight of stairs to enter the Mill and another up to the sitting area/kitchen

Positive: Great locator and friendly staff we stayed in the Den a lovely one bedroom property which is all that we needed for our 3 day stay

Negative: The kitchen in the Den was very small and did not have a hob to cook on there was a Ninja Bake/grill/airfry and a microwave

Positive: We were three families coming to attend the wedding of my niece. It was lovely to find somewhere that could accommodate us all. There was loads of outdoor space for my young grandchildren to run about and explore. The tennis court was a big hit for both children and parents. The evenings were spent enjoying sitting by the river. Our hosts Philip and Melanie were excellent. They were quick to answer any questions I had before our arrival, nothing was too much trouble. They gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. The accommodation was lovely. Room for everyone. Lots of sitting and dining space and the grandchildren loved that there was a games room downstairs. Everywhere was clean and beds comfortable. There was nothing not to like. The attention to detail was great, even wellington boots for everyone, which fortunately were not needed on this occasion. We will certainly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Stamford area.

Negative: My 6ft 3in son in law had fun negotiating the low beams!

Positive: The Den was everything we needed. Beautiful, clean, warm, lovely bathroom, compact but functional kitchen and the grounds of Fletland are just stunning. I worked from the property during the day whilst my wife was helping with arrangements for a family event we were attending. It was lovely being able to walk our dog off the lead (well behaved and excellent recall incase we came across Deer - which we did) straight from the door and into the 30 acre grounds of the property; woodland, river and their open fields (not the ones with the ponies in 😁) 20 mins max from Peterborough (where we were attending the event) and a few mins from a large Tesco and the town of Bourne which appeared to have everything you could need for a stay at Fetland. We didn’t get to use the tennis courts which were available and open due to schedule, but we will next time! All in all a wonderful stay with very good communication from the owners pre and during stay.
