Summary: It's really nice to stay in a place that truly has it all. A restaurant, pub and inn all in one! Staff were delightful and very helpful to a couple foreigners.

Summary: Nice place but after hot summers day, the room was unbearably hot even with a fan. Struggled sleeping

Summary: The stay was a pleasant one in a twin bedded room. The Black Horse in very pleasant and quiet surroundings and ample parking. I wish they could have served dinner a bit later so we could have eaten there. Staff very friendly and helpful

Summary: Hotel was warm and cosy and our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, bed was comfy and plenty of thick clean towels available. Dining area was enhanced by log burning stove. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Summary: I was lovely that after a long journey, we could settle in our room and then just go downstairs to the restaurant and enjoy a lovely evening meal.

Summary: The room was comfortable and roomy with an excellent shower with good hot water and water pressure. The beds were fine (the older type spring mattresses were a worry but we slept well). The breakfast was excellent every day, especially the eggs benedict. The pub is cute and clean with a couple of nice real ales on. We would stay again if traveling in the area again.
