Positive: One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in Netherlands regarding the location and the cleanliness of the rooms. Beautiful view and very nice equipped rooms.

Negative: Receptionist doesn’t know how to welcome guests not a single smile or a greet and when we ask for something it took her ages to do. Breakfast was not as expected, when we arrived we found almost everything finished although it was still within the opening hours of the breakfast, no tables were clean, so We had to wait for someone to come and clean which wasn’t quick!

Summary: Nice hotel but staff needs to give more attention to guests

Positive: It is the only hotel in Huizen, so it is the default choice. However, the price was fair and room very comfortable with a nice bathroom. The staff was friendly and did not ask me to pay a 15 euro "penalty" for arriving at 14:05 rather than 15:00.

Negative: The breakfast was pricy at EUR 18.50. But, there are no alternatives within an easy walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is a bit far from the center of Huizen, though walkable if the weather is clement and you have time. The 15:00 check-in time is a bit late in the day - 13:00 is fairer. But, as you see, arriving less than an hour before 15:00, it was not enforced.
