Positive: Owner of the property neglected to check or replace the coffee maker (Expresso coffee hot pot) The handle was glued and I was severely burned.

Positive: Freshly renovated apartment on 1st floor with concierge, kitchen has all necessary kitchen accessories, perfect for 1 or 2 people, comfortable bed, good internet, small gym, washer and dryer in the building, swimming pool outside, 5 min. walk to the beach Copacabana, surrounded with coffee shops, supermarkets, etc., safe area, 3 min. walk to the metro station. Renata is a very nice host and there for you all the time. I highly recommend you to stay here! It is perfect for a 1 day or a 1 month stay.

Negative: Building is on a main road, little loud, but manageable.

Positive: This is a real gem of an apartment in RDJ - it’s small but it’s spotlessly clean, comfortable and has all the amenities you could need. The building is very secure (24 hour door staff and CCTV) and there’s a pool and a gym on site. It’s 5mins walk from copacabana beach, and there are lots of shops and cafes nearby. The communication before and during check in was excellent - all the staff were really lovely. But the real test of a place is when you have a problem… My phone adapter broke when I arrived and I was going out and was worried I’d have no battery to call an uber. The concierge let me charge my phone at reception and within 2 hours the owner had couriered an adapter to the apartment. There was also another small problem the next day and again the owner couriered a package to me to deal with it. That’s such great service. I can highly recommend this property

Negative: As with anywhere that’s central you may need earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, but it wasn’t excessively noisy
