Summary: The accommodation was clean, warm, fully equipped and ideally placed. The location being such that we were not troubled by noise or other disturbance but still close to most amenities with a well stocked supermarket on the doorstep. Parking was just outside the front door and the main bus stands just across the supermarket car park. Keswick itself has everything we needed. Restaurant pre-booking is recommended for Friday and Saturday nights. The only minor gripe, and it is minor, it was unclear what to do with re-cycling rubbish. There are no facilities nearby although the information folder incorrectly stated there were facilities at the supermarket. The local council’s website was not clear.

Summary: Well equipped, comfortable apartment. Unusually for the Lake District, the weather was warm and we found the bedrooms hot at night. Being a ground floor flat we could not leave the windows open. However we appreciate that this is unusual and not the norm. We enjoyed playing the games that were in the cupboard.
