Positive: The apartment has a beautiful elevated sea view with large windows, which makes the space very pleasant during the day. The location is very quiet and peaceful compared to the centre of St Ives, and it was possible to enjoy the New Year’s Eve fireworks from a privileged viewpoint. Having a private parking space is a major advantage in the area. The neighbours were extremely kind and helpful, which made a positive difference on arrival. The apartment is well designed and receives good natural light.

Negative: The check-in process was confusing and stressful. The key safe was hidden inside a wooden panel between two apartment doors, which was not described in the instructions. The parking space was located across the street with no signage or clear directions. There was no human support available on arrival: phone calls were answered only by automated systems, and messages were replied to 48 hours later, after the issue had already been solved independently. The apartment was extremely cold for a winter stay. Heating is fully electric, has no temperature control and was insufficient to warm the space properly. The electric shower and the heating system were not clearly described in the listing. Access to the beach is very steep, which may be difficult for guests with reduced mobility, and this was not clearly mentioned.

Positive: Magnificent views. Very comfortable and spacious. Great to have dedicated parking and a washing machine and dryer. Lovely to have a few snacks and apple juice on arrival.

Negative: Nothing it was wonderful.
