Positive: The room itself was nice and the ocean view was beautiful.
Negative: There was an emergency evacuation alarm at 2am one night during our stay (during a large thunderstorm) and after evacuating down stairs staff were not able to let us know what was happening as they weren’t sure too. No communication about where to go or what to do in moment of panic for many guests. Eventually told to go up to the lobby for more information, however there was no stair access up to the lobby floor - we asked staff to show us how to get upstairs instead of using the lift and they weren’t sure. Turns out to be a false alarm, only given further information the following day via WhatsApp and offered fruit plate. We understand that false alarms can occur but it was very unorganised and left us feeling very unsure about the safety of guests and ourselves during a real emergency.

Positive: The facilities were great, all the different pools and the beach were a great feature.
Negative: Like other commentators have mentioned the hotel is quite busy, however we went during weekdays (in the summer) and found we never had a problem getting a table, sunbed or anything like that. There is very little sound isolation between the room and the hallway, but we never heard anything from our neighbouring rooms. A lot of the staff speaking very limited English was sometimes problematic,, but some of the staff were very helpful and we didn't find it too big of an issue. The hotel was very nice, the restaurant ok. All in all the overall experience was good but slightly underwhelming.

Positive: The rooms we had we beautiful, the air-conditioning was perfect, the choice of pools, beaches and restaurants was amazing. We all got to train in the gym and use the Onsen. We all treated ourselves to the spa services. I would also like to acknowledge how helpful the front office staff were in organizing transport and transfers to and from the hotel. The staff were amazing.

Positive: Well, we stayed in the third building (which is not clearly stated while booking, the main building is the second), it has private beach (local and other guests outside can not access). Many pools are suitable for baby and parents. Lifeguard and spa is considered to be professional. The room is spacious, exactly the same with the picture. The balcony occupied with lots of plants. Buffet breakfast is so so
Negative: The resort should be 4 stars. Many services and criteria do not meet 5 stars. We are managed to check in the room earlier (than the normal 3pm) but it’s serviced halfway, the floor, table and chairs are super dirty, my mother in law bed is not finished with the bedsheet folded messily. The bfast area is way too clouded, as well the the reception area, we did not have welcome drink and many booking information I got via phone did not match with at desk one. Room service was way too slow. I called to change the bedsheet in the morning but had not changed until night (after several calls) In overall, the number of staff is under the service requirement, do not mention their professional service is definitely under 5 star hotel. I expect a more leisure and peaceful stay but am definitely disappointed.

Negative: Food options were a bit limited for a five star hotel. The buffet room was huge & catered for a huge amount of guests. Staff couldn’t clear tables quick enough so had to sit at dirty tables.Almost too big a hotel, it’s confusing!

Positive: Excellent location, big pool and huge apartment with the best view over the bay. The breakfast has various dishes for every taste. The resort is really big, but they drive you around with their electric cars and they can also drive you down to the Cat ba downtown and pick you up on your way back. I recommend this resort
Negative: Was a bit crowded since we got here during their Reunification Day :)
