Beautiful large lower level (1500 SF) walkout with 2 bedrooms, queen beds, one bath, living room with gas fireplace, kitchenette, and separate entrance. Bright and cheery with a nice view of Mt Herman from living room and one bedroom. The other bedroom looks out towards a former golf course (open area). The kitchenette includes a sink, 2 mini-fridges, microwave, large electric skillet, crock pot, and coffee maker with complimentary Starbucks coffee. There is off street parking and access to deck and grill on back of house.
The property is conveniently located on the north end of Colorado Springs - only five minutes from the north gate of the US Air Force Academy and easy driving distance to Garden of the Gods, the US Olympic Training Center, Pikes Peak, Old Colorado City, and the Castle Rock Outlet Mall. Summary: My husband and I used the apartment during our visit to the Air Force Academy. Close to the North Gate entrance, it was easy to access the Academy. Although it doesn't have a full-sized kitchen, it had everything we needed. The owner has supplied guests with appliances to make meal preparation easy.The neighborhood is lovely with lots of wildlife. Shopping and dinning are also close.

Summary: Chris did an amazing job communicating throughout the entire booking process / during our stay. It was in a cozy neighborhood close to the Air Force Academy as well as downtown monument. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for!
