Positive: Our stay at The Nook in Dartmeet was nothing short of perfect. The accommodation itself was gorgeous—peaceful, cosy, and surrounded by stunning scenery with lovely walks right on the doorstep. Inside, everything was spotless and well-equipped, with all the essentials and more. From utensils, pans, and a slow cooker to the convenience of a dishwasher, nothing was missing. A thoughtful touch was the stocked fridge, complete with milk, bacon, and eggs. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Everything was superb, and we can highly recommend The Nook for a relaxing getaway.

Positive: What a beautiful self contained cottage with views across the moor. Plenty of walks direct from the front door and hundreds more within a short drive. I love this place and I love Dartmoor. And, a super bonus, the owner was really nice and friendly. Thank you.

Positive: Location is fantastic. The power shower brilliant , comfy bed and a well stocked kitchen and gorgeous bacon eggs bread and milk left. Owner was very lovely too.

Negative: We were a bit chilly some evenings as the heating is set to come on at certain times, so if you get in at 4 pm and it doesn't come on till 6 pm, it can get chilly. Also, a couple of mornings, the shower water was only luke warm. Only freesat on the TV so on wet evenings little to watch if you're used to Netflix etc.

Positive: The property was so cosy and clean. Everything in the cottage was of a very high standard, from the bedding to the Le Crusset pans! a wonderful host who was most welcoming but equally respectful of privacy. It is a perfect cottage for 2 and a furry friend, the walks are beautiful and easily accessible. My favourite thing is looking out of the bedroom window at the beautiful river Dart ❤️
