Positive: Nice place. The rooms had the feeling of the time when it was built, good character. I liked King City, it's got the look and layout of a successful cowtown from like a hundred years ago, but maintained by residents that care.

Negative: No fireplace, not that I wanted one, the name just seemed like there would be one. The temperature was great.

Negative: The room was smelly, humid and the carpet is old and smelly. The entire room was old looking old furniture, old bedding the room is good to sleep but it smell.

Positive: This property is extremely convenient if you have an event at the king city fairgrounds. It was very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The room had a microwave and a nice size refrigerator.

Negative: I am not really a motel person but nothing wrong with the place other than being old. My biggest complaint was there is no coffee maker in the room or coffee in the lobby area.

Summary: Simple, clean and great price.
