Positive: Room, bed/pillows comfortable. Nice having microwave as well as a real fridge/freezer vs mini bar style fridge. AC worked well in cooling room. Room seemed very clean.
Negative: Surprisingly walls seemed to not block noise well. Both nights a TV was on in the adjacent room all night disrupting sleep, and could very clearly hear tenant going about their business. Would have been nice to have had coffee making machine, or at least coffee onsite, but options within a short walk for getting coffee so not a big deal.
Summary: Options in King City are limited, but this seems as good as any!

Positive: The rooms were clean. The refrigerators were a good size. Good restaurants in town. Close enough for a leisurely drive through beautiful country to Pinnacles National Park for me and the lads.
Negative: No coffee maker in the room. Don't think there was any on the premises either. Shower water wasn't hot enough.

Positive: We visited Pinnacle National Park and aimed to find a nearby location to avoid driving too far from the entrance. During our search, we came across Fireside Inn, which had favorable reviews. The personnel were courteous, supportive, and kind.
Negative: The bathroom lacks central heating, so you must open the window for the steam to escape; however, the bathroom window faces the street (behind the school), so we never open it. The hot water isn't very hot, but that's fine since we prefer it not too warm. Others might perceive it as chilly.
Summary: Staying at Fireside Inn offers a different experience compared to our usual stays at Windham Resort.
