Positive: A traditional craftsman house that is well maintained and clean which enhances its already rare and welcoming style. We love that it’s equipped with a complete kitchen and AC making staying home and preparing meals comfortable in hot summer days.

Positive: Perfectly situated for my purposes- easy walking distance to excellent restaurants, night spots and coffee shops, and a short drive to Balboa Park and the zoo. Completely furnished with everything I needed for cooking, laundry, etc.

Summary: I could not have had better accomodations for my stay than the Fern House South Park Craftsman.

Positive: Everything about the house is wonderful. It's light and bright, beautifully appointed, comfortable, and quiet (occasional plane noise). Parking was plentiful on the street, and the management was super-responsive. The two-bedroom apartment is spacious, and has an additional den for watching TV. Love love love.

Positive: Comfortable, clean, plenty of amenities in the unit: stocked kitchen utensils, laundry soap, basic cooking supplies and coffee! A market two minutes away.

Negative: Some traffic and airport noise. You are at the mercy of the upstairs unit when it comes to noise. Our second morning started at 6:30 AM with a child running laps above our heads.

Positive: Location was perfect to be near anything, but it was a surprise to be under the flight path, good thing we had our ear plugs and were not bothered by it. It also now explains the sound machine you had in the bedrooms ;)

Negative: Honestly not much, but I did have to call to confirm that there were 2 actual bedrooms in what appears as 1 room on the booking site. But it was resolved quickly.

Positive: I can't say enough good things about this property. It's is absolutely perfect! super clean, well maintained , spacious, 3 bathrooms, many extra amenities, super comfortable beds with lovely linens, owner goes above and beyond to accommodate any special requests, even leaving a welcome gift for us.

Negative: Absolutely nothing. ...it was great no complaints whatsoever
