Positive: Morgan, the host, was excellent. He put us at our ease, served a cold beer and left us to relax. All in all an excellent stay

Negative: No tea making facilities in the room. Personal choice for some but essential for me 😀

Positive: Highlight of our holiday. An absolutely stunning historic Chateau set in an incredibly beautiful location. The owner was warm and welcoming and gave us a tour of the house and gardens on our arrival. We stayed in the turret and quite honestly we didn’t want to leave. So peaceful and relaxing we couldn’t have asked for more. Breakfast was fabulous. I highly recommend particularly if you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway. Sadly we didn’t have time to enjoy the spa which also looked incredible, so we will make time next time. 10/10

Negative: Nothing. It was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Positive: A perfect stop for us just off the ferry in Caen - we picnicked in the sunny courtyard, then explored the grounds and surrounds. The owner - rightly proud of his beautiful restoration of this historic property - was very friendly and informative. Our room was gorgeous. A high-quality breakfast in a beautiful old dining hall rounded off this memorable first stop on our journey through France.

Positive: The chateau has been beautifully renovated by the host and his family and is In a peaceful rural location set in lovely natural gardens The rooms are spacious and well appointed. We were lucky enough to see an otter swimming across one of the large ponds. The host was full of useful information and served an exceptional breakfast. Altogether a delight.

Negative: The pool was fine , but would have been impressive had it been longer
