Positive: Very spacious, well kept, fully equipped kitchen, even comes with baking paper, cooking oil, aluminium foil, and salt and pepper. Host lives next door, thus no worries when we needed help. Come with washer at the basement and laundry soap. Excellent view.

Negative: Nothing particularly. Please remember to bring your own shampoo and shower gel, which is easy as we knew before hand.

Summary: Highly recommended for family stay.

Negative: The ceiling is 185cm, and for me, as a tall person it was not good. I had to bend all the time. But the rest of the family was happy.

Positive: This house was cozy and old fashioned and homey. Everything we needed to make a meal and stay in was available. The host greeted us and was so welcoming. The view of the mountains around, covered in snow, was beautiful. They even put around a few decorations, as it was Christmas! We walked from the train station, and even in the dark in the cold, it was about about 10 minutes.

Summary: Gorgeous cozy home stay with incredible views.

Positive: Very nice and clean accomodation. Walking distance from train station and some nice hiking routes. Many hiking routes within short travel distance. Complementary Appenzeller Ferienkarte is an excellent deal with free access to train and cable car. NIce hosts. Good WiFi. Tremendous beautiful mountain views.

Negative: Kitchen equipment a litte scarce. Some more mugs and a large frying pan could be usefull. Also some large serving spoons. Historic building with low ceilings, Need to stoop frequently if you are above 1.85 m.

Summary: Very nice an clean building. Excellent base for nice hiking vacantion.
