Positive: Spacious rooms. Lovely views and responsive host

Negative: Parking during the weekend was not readily available. Had to park about 500 mts away. However not a major drama as we did not have room much luggage

Positive: What a great place! Very well organised, clean and comfortable. Two spacious bedrooms with a nice bathroom each. On top of it, there is a guests toilette too. The bedrooms have a wonderful view onto the river and the hills. The kitchen-dining-living room area is well equipped and spacious with a nice, large table and comfortable sofa. The outside terrace has an open fire wood heated barbecue. The pool is small, yet big enough for cooling down in the hot weather. All in all a very high standard apartment, well worth the money.

Negative: the wine display could be turned into a mini bar insted of on-call order.

Positive: I would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in Regua. It is a new property and finished to an extremely high standard. Both inside and outside areas are carefully designed to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Our host, Pedro, was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond in his helpfulness during our visit.

Positive: Good communication from the host Pedro who welcomed us when we arrived with a bottle of wine and cake which was very much appreciated. Casa do Alfaiate is a beautiful place to stay with fanrastic views. Shame as the weather could have been better and we could have enjoyed the outside space.

Negative: Casa do Alfaiate is up a steep road but worth the fantastic views once you arrive.

Positive: This is a single family home you are renting - that’s been built approximately two yrs ago. You enter thru a secure gate at the street then down 6 steps to the outside & inside living areas. The open “breezeway” offers an outside living area with table for six and a fireplace/ grilling setup with sink. Around the corner of the patio is a splendid view of the river. The river is also viewable from the living room and bedrooms, both with on-suite bathrooms. Nice 30 minute drive to Pinhoa along N222. We are a couple and it was great but it would also be a super place for two couples or a large family. Very quiet neighborhood. Groceries close by (10 minute walk or few minute drive). Pedro and Helena are very nice people and very accommodating. Definitely recommend.
