Positive: Lovely property and magnificent view. It was very comfortable. We had a nice welcome drink.

Negative: We couldn’t locate the property from the instructions given and ended up driving down dangerous small roads on steep hills. Owner was only willing/able to speak in Portuguese at handover(though we asked him to change to English) although all but 1 of our party could only speak English. There were no restaurants bars or shops very close although a lovely new restaurant is about to open in the village 10 minutes drive away.

Summary: Lovely memorable family stay.
