Positive: A cosy, 2 bedroom farm cottage. Bring your own food and you don't need to go anywhere. Relax on the front verandah and enjoy the views to distant mountain ranges, cattle grazing and tranquillity. The host is very generous providing a welcome bottle of wine, homemade scones with jam and cream and a fresh loaf of bread, also home made. There are plenty of basic supplies in the pantry and fridge.

Negative: We stayed 2 nights. The cottage is located on a working cattle property approx 18klm from Dorrigo. As the fuel crisis was developing and we were 100's of kilometres from home, we decided to stay at the property for the day rather then drive into and out of town. It was a great way to relax. It's not that we didn't like it, just be aware that you will be out of town using narrow country roads.

Positive: The hosts were remarkably helpful and generous kind. Yet not intruding the property is located in a beautiful place with wonderful views, cows and animals surrounding the property, a real country farms stay.

Negative: Just a little bit far for me, 25 minutes into Dorrigo and 25 minutes back. I was attending the folk Bluegrass Festival so driving in the dark on the way back at night was a little scary but otherwise fantastic if you plan a holiday I highly recommend it.
