Positive: We have stayed at Agriturismo a number of times over the past 15 years. It is a wonderful property in the heart of the Chianti region and the owner Alessandro is fantastic. Over the years we have kept in touch and visited when we have not been staying at Il Santo … Perfetto, what more can you say?

Negative: Nothing. This place is our ‘piccolo secreto’.

Summary: A perfect place to enjoy and explore Tuscany.

Positive: The owner was very helpful. Fabulous swimming pool. Good parking and beautiful views. Fly wire on the windows which stopped mosquitoes coming in.

Negative: A small kitchenette. No toaster and kettle.

Positive: What an incredible location! The property is perched on top of the hill overlooking rolling hills and a vineyard. It’s less than 5 mins drive into Greve in Chianti and very close to Montefioralle. Alessandro is an excellent host. He provided recommendations for our stay and was very welcoming. The kids loved the pool!

Negative: Nothing- it was great!

Summary: Wonderful stay - would highly recommend!

Positive: The property was amazing, super clean and everything we wanted. The view from the pool was absolutely beautiful, wish we had stayed longer. Alessandro was great and extremely helpful in giving us tips and places to visit. I definitely want to come back soon.

Positive: It was stunning! The property itself has the most incredible views, the swimming pool and vineyards make the best backdrop, the house itself is perfect for a short stay!

Negative: Nothing! It was only a 15min walk from the city of Greve so would suggest maybe a car if you are considering doing wineries as a little difficult to walk to

Positive: Exactly what we wanted. A quiet Tuscan cottage, close enough to walk into town and with a pool to relax in after exploring Tuscany. We wanted to be able to self-cater. I would suggest you do need a car to explore close by villages. We were there for Chianti Classico - great time to visit this region. The host was fantastic with suggestions and recommendations, helping us to make reservations. He was also so kind when we locked ourselves out of the cottage (twice!). The pool is just a glorious way to relax and get some sun. Loved it - very Tuscany.

Negative: It was perfect. My only tiny bit of feedback would be in the kitchen simple things like Salt and pepper, cooking oil etc would have been useful.

Summary: Wind down Tuscan style and enjoy the wine
