A charming building nestled in a green setting; rest and relaxation are guaranteed with the chirping cicadas in the background. The farmhouse is 700 metres from the main road. It has no neighbours nearby, sheltering it from view and the noise. You can use the 5,000-sq.m wooded park, the gated pool area with unobstructed view for the Coutach Mountain Range, the poolhouse, and the summer kitchen (fridge, gas, microwave, and barbecue). There is also a shaded boules court and a playground with a trampoline, slide, swing, and a table tennis table. The cottage is at the heart of an organic farm. Enjoy the farms' produce including organic eggs from the site and organic poultry (chicken and guinea fowl) nearby. The cottage adjoins to the hosts' house. Welcoming and tastefully renovated, it can accommodate 5 people. It is on the first floor of the farmhouse and offers:
- A living/dining room (period cobbled floor)
- A fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, microwave, cooker, coffee maker, kettle, etc.)
- A bedroom for three with a single 90 x 200-cm bed and a large double 180 x 200-cm bed (or two single 90 x 180-cm beds)

Summary: This farm has it all. Built 800 years ago this is a great stone farmhouse with all the amenities you could want. About half an hour from Nimes and very close to Sauve.

Summary: Everyone had something to do: with a trampoline, pool and boules court, the perfect set of activities on site. The property was exactly as described and was very practical with everything for a large family to feel at ease. It was the best family holiday ever, just too short.

Summary: This house is beautiful and Johan was very helpful and accommodating, give us great advice about where to go for some superb river swimming and cliff jumping. Pros The house is beautiful. Clearly a huge effort has been made to make it look so amazing. Each bedroom has air conditioning - a welcome relief from a very hot summer. The eating space near the kitchen is simply lovely. Kitchen well equipped with a massive fridge Seating areas all over the place - indicative of a proper farmhouse conversion. A cranny for everyone. Fantastic boule court with lights so an evening game a joy. The pool is gorgeous (although a bit too warm but that's weather related, it was scorchio) not the normal blue tile and it's salt water which is just gorgeous. Johan was super helpful. We had a couple of issues (unwanted visitor in the kitchen) and it was dealt with swiftly. We weren't too needy but I imagine all issues that came up would be dealt with. Cons The flies! It's a beautiful, stunning farmhouse but that means it's smack bang in the middle of an organic farm, in the peak of summer. I do not exaggerate when I say that in certain places, at certain times, there were swarms. There is a very strict no window open policy which means that the non air conditioned living areas are airless and stuffy which is a real shame. There are fly nets on most of the windows but some of them were broken so unable to open windows. The first day was challenging but you quickly get used to how to operate without letting them in the house. Wasps by the pool. Bizarrely, between 12-4pm the pool area was covered with wasps (obviously their thirsty period) of many number. We got in to the habit of swimming in the morning, going off to do something else for the afternoon and then returning to swim in the evening. However, on the one day we did stay at the pool between those hours, whilst irritating, the wasps were totally non aggressive and we left each other alone and I'm sure, change from year to year, weather dependent. So, my only two gripes with the house were flies and wasps, neither of which are in control by man. We had an amazing holiday and I would definitely return.

Summary: We spent a wonderful weekend at Chantal and Johan's farm in Quissac. The house is beautifully renovated and is equipped with everything one needs. The kids had a fabulous time playing in the garden, we enjoyed lunches outside on the terrace, dinners inside in the cosy warmth of the living/dining room. Johan gave a tour of his chicken farm where the kids could pick eggs. It was the perfect weekend away with a group of our friends. Thank you again, Chantal and Johan for your warm welcome and allowing us to stay in your wonderful house.
