Welcome to Accueil Paysan,
at the farm "Les Ruchers des Mésséguières"
The cottage is a house adjoining ours with access and independent parking. You will discover life in the countryside and you will enjoy the calm of our sheep grazing on our land. The garden of 4 ha is open to you, you can share the picking in the vegetable garden or go get the eggs from the chicken coop. A garden furniture will be at your disposal to enjoy the siesta in the shade of a large oak tree.
The cottage is air conditioned and has all the comforts necessary for a pleasant holiday. Bed linen is provided and beds are made upon arrival. We can provide you with a cot and a high chair.
The farm is located about 5 minutes walk from the village where you will find small shops (bakery, butcher, medical center, pharmacy, grocery store ...). You can also explore the region: Luberon trails, Ocres de Roussillon, Aix en Provence or the creeks of Marseille.
And for the pleasure of eating well, the farmer's market on which we are present, with our lavender honey AB, will allow you to enjoy organic and local products (goat and sheep cheese, honey, fruits and vegetables, bread .. .).

Summary: Lovely, extremely clean gîtes a short walk from the village of Lauris. We really enjoyed our stay here and got to switch off completely. The surrounding countryside and the village of Lauris are gorgeous, complete with hills, rivers, cycle and walking routes. There is no wifi at the property, which served us well and allowed us to relax. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a large supermarket just around the corner and a farmer’s market down the road each Thursday. We got some great tips from the hosts for local events, of which there seems to be many and got to enjoy the surroundings of a working farm that makes amazing lavender honey, among other produce. It was a memorable and enjoyable experience and we would definitely love to return.
