Positive: The sweetest cottage, clean and tidy, the bedding smelled incredible, host said a quick hello when we turned up, very sweet lady, bubbly and charming. After being on your feet at alton towers all day and evening, it was so nice coming back here.

Positive: Fabulous location for visiting Alton Towers. Walking distance to main entrance which was ideal after a tiring day at the park. Everything we needed was in the kitchen and property. Will stay again when next visiting Alton Towers

Negative: The chairs in the kitchen could have felt feet to stop the scrapy noise when pushing the chairs back. Also a screen or blond on the window to the main door would be beneficial for privacy. Other than that, everything was ideal.

Positive: Everything was beyond amazing!! It was clean, everything worked as it should, the bathroom is wonderful and it was sooo nice to have a shower after a long day at the park.. which is LITERALLY across the road!! Everyone I knew was so jealous I was staying here! There were even shower gels, soaps, two delicious cookies, mini milks, sugar etc left out complimentary too which was so lovely! It was the best trip ever and I really can’t wait to be back again!

Negative: The ONE and ONLY thing that bothered me that I could say about staying in this lovely place is the sheer amount of spiders! Absolutely everywhere!😆 it’s not too bad until they come down on you from the ceiling or run at you at night hahah. I didn’t mind though, it was worth putting up with them to stay in a place like this!

Positive: Very close to Alton towers. Kitchen was nice and modern. Bathroom was big and shower was nice. Owner was very friendly. Plenty space for parking

Negative: Only issue is that the bed was REALLY uncomfortable - it was hard as a rock and wasn’t really big enough for 2 people as it was just a double. Pillows were thin and blanket wasn’t large enough.

Summary: Pleasant but definitely needs a different bed

Positive: Location is good, especially if visiting Alton towers. Decorated well and homely. Well equipped kitchen. Good private parking. Lovely local pubs/restaurants.

Negative: Bed was dreadfully hard and uncomfortable. Pillows flat and need replacing. Needs better cleaning as there were lots of cobwebs and spiders in bathroom, hair found in cutlery draw and fridge and makeup (not mine) was on the pillow protectors and throw on the bed.

Summary: It was a pleasant stay and even though there are some negatives it didn’t ruin our weekend.
