4 Bedroom Villa in Sa Riera, Begur

Magnificent sea views are enjoyed from almost every room of this spacious 350m2 Catalonian villa. The large sandy beach of Sa Riera is a 5 min walk away with bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Two further beaches: Platja Illa Roja & Platja de Pals can be accessed by foot in under 15 minutes. The beautiful historic town centre of Begur with its diverse shops, restaurants, bars and markets is a short drive or 30-minute walk away. With a private pool and several outdoor seating areas, the villa provides an idyllic setting to enjoy quality time relaxing with family and friends.
The villa is spread over 3 floors.
On the ground floor is a self-contained one-bedroom apartment sleeping 2-4 people with sea views. It has a large en suite double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and large dining/living room with double sofa bed. Ideal if you wish to rent the villa with another family, grandparents or friends. There is also outdoor seating where you can enjoy a coffee or glass or wine with beautiful views of the surrounding hillside and sea. The large double garage is also on the ground floor with utility room equipped with a washing machine, dryer and ice-machine.
The first and second floors benefit from mesmerising sea views throughout capable of sleeping 6.
The first floor consists of a large living room with comfortable sofas and dining area. A modern open kitchen fully equipped with coffee machines and juicers spills out onto the terrace where there is a 10m pool with shower, large dining table, outdoor lounge seating area and two barbecues: traditional coal & gas. There is also a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom on this floor.
The second-floor features another living room with double sofa bed and a 55" smart TV with Astra, Sky movies, Sky sport, Netflix etc. There are two ensuite double bedrooms on either side and a large balcony terrace with stunning views, comfortable seating area and a hammock; perfect for an afternoon siesta!
All 3 bedrooms on the first and second floors have newly installed A/C. Guests have full access to the entire villa and 100 Mbps fibre-optic wifi runs throughout.
Many of our guests enjoy spending time at the villa and Sa Riera but popular activities such as boating, water sports, scuba-diving, snorkelling, golf, horse-riding, karting, mountain-biking, hiking, tennis and shopping are all located within a 5km radius. Pals golf course is only a 5 minute drive away and is one of the most beautiful and established courses in Catalonia. Emporda Golf with two championship 18 hole golf courses, a new contemporary hotel and first class leisure facilities is a 20 minute drive from the villa.
Please note we accept bookings of 5 nights or more but during July and August we can only accept bookings of 7 nights or more with arrival and departure on a Saturday.

Summary: We all hugely enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa. Super comfortable and very well equipped, gorgeous views and lovely outdoor space - perfect! We had our 3 year old grandchild with us so ate in for the most part - consequently much appreciated the wide range of pots, pans, bowls, untensils etc., etc, - never a given when you rent a villa.The lovely pool was a wonderful asset as were the (genuinely) walking distance beaches of Sa Riera and, even lovelier, Illa Roja - admittedly a nudist beach but everyone was very tolerant of those with swimsuits on if you didn't feel like embracing the nudist approach. The beds were very comfortable, very nice ensuite bathrooms with every room (really appreciated the L'Occitane products) and plentiful hot water. The beach towels were an absolute bonus - with all of our party flying out, we would have needed an entire extra suitcase for towels alone! We had one day of rain and two grey afternoons during our stay and found the villa very warm, light and comfortable to spend a wet day in, with plenty of space for everyone to co-exist - no bad thing in these changeable times. The owner and the villa housekeeper were so helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had - thank you both for making our stay so enjoyable - we will be back!

Summary: We have recently returned from a truly wonderful 9 night stay in Villa Azura. The photos don’t do the Villa justice - it is truly beautiful and the views are simply breathtaking. The Villa is extremely spacious and comfortable and very well equipped with absolutely everything you could need (and more!), we particularly loved the pool and the hammocks! Communication with Jane was excellent and the whole process was very smooth and easy. The Villa is well located and is walking distance from a beautiful beach as well as restaurants and shops with many other beaches a short drive away. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone and we very much hope to return for a repeat visit very soon!

Summary: We loved everything about our stay in Sa Riera. The house exceeded our expectations. All the rooms are spacious with en suite bathrooms and tastefully decorated The owner had thought about every detail and the house was very well equipped which allowed us to move in and feel comfortable from day one. The view from the house is breathtaking. We could not get enough of the view and enjoyed hanging by the pool, cooking and exploring some of the wonderful restaurants that Jane had recommended. Overall, we loved our stay so much that we would consider renting the house again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Summary: Super, spacious and very well equipped villa with a great pool and spectacular views. Hosts provided excellent information for exploring the many beaches, coves and restaurants in the Begur area. In reality there was plenty in Sa Riera to keep us busy for a week but we enjoyed exploring a bit further afield. Our stay certainly met our expectations for a relaxing but high quality holiday to celebrate many decades of friendship. Would highly recommend a stay - especially slightly out of season.
