Summary: Amazing location, great view and cosy home. We had a very nice time in the cottage. In the future we wish to visit again. The villages/ cities in the neighborhood are beautiful, locals are friendly.

Summary: We had a great time with our dogs at the beautiful and cozy house. At first we were a bit insecure if the heating would manage temperatures below -12 but the Chalet is perfectly fine for wintertimes. We enjoyed the remoteness and the private sauna. Also the contact (mostly via chat) with the host is perfect and it adds to the private feeling of a place. Thanks forbthe great time and I am sure we will come back one time.

Summary: We had such a great time at this fantastic lake house. Both the house and the surrounding landscape were beautiful. We enjoyed the open fireplace in the living room and the sauna. Host Christian made our stay a great experience. Whenever we had a question he readily helped us.

Summary: If you are looking for the perfect quiet, you will find it here. It is so quiet, that you hear your own heartbeat. Christian is always available for questions and his hospitality is incredable. He supplied us with enough wood for every day sauna use and for the cosy open fire that roared during the day, spreading its warmth and light throughout the elegant living room. This is the place to be if you want to step out of the rat race, relax and explore that part of Sweden or doing absolutely nothing, lazily preparing new recipies in the well equiped kitchen, enjoying breathtaking views over the lake, whilst looking forward gazing at the stars in the pitch black of night. We highly recommend this location!

Summary: We stayed in the house for 10 days in early April.The house itself is very nice and cosy. Sitting at the dinner table with the fireplace crackling and looking over the still frozen lake, or simply enjoying the silence outside with a good book - it's absolutely the right place for that! The house lies alone in the woods at the lake. It has all amenities and is structured nicely: a large living room, two smaller bedrooms and a kitchen facing the lake. The additional beds for persons 5+6 are good and the living room has enough space to place them. Outside is more than enough space e.g. for the kids to play. The landlord and his family is very friendly and helpfully. The next supermarket is reachable with the car in maybe 15 minutes, the next bigger city Strängnäs is a little bit more than 30 minutes away. This city is also a good starting point to take the train to Stockholm which is absolutely worth a trip (hint: use the smartphone app to book the tickets). Bottomline: We will return! :)
