This fully equipped 3 bedroom Family Townhouse is situated in the wonderful and traditional town of San Pedro del Pinatar, in Murcia. It is a beach close location (10 min walk) located close to the amazing Mediterranean 'natural lagoon' the Mar Menor. The House is fully equipped from top to bottom including air conditioning. It has everything you could need and includes off road parking if required .
Located close to Lo Pagan (San Pedro del Pinatar) in Murcia province, alongside the stunning Mar Menor lagoon & Lo Pagan beaches and within Murcia's National Park.
It has a delightful botanical garden, with cafe, just a short stroll away (20 mtrs) and the prices are incredibly low. The botanic's and plants of the Park are divided into the nations of the World..... for the kids it has a small lake, housing varieties of turtles ... and a soft floor extensive play area !
There are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and banks in the nearby town centre (a 15 min walk away).
Everything you could possibly want is on hand including the wonderful beaches & coast,. This beautiful coast is amazing! The surroundings are truly Spanish, although the English speaking locals could not offer better hospitality. The region has its very own micro-climate making it the warmest Costa in Spain! The World Health Authority have designated the area as one of the healthiest places in the Europe! Renowned for its healing Mud Baths and shallow / waveless Mediterranean lagoon !
The area in general is incredibly interesting. Hundreds of years ago , it was volcanic and has a high / very healthy ph value in the water, making swimming and bathing in the area not only relaxing but incredibly healthy too ! Mud bathing is popular in the area with dedicated beaches & pontoons close by.
The old world Town centre of San Pedro del Pinatar is centred around the town square with its ancient church and ample pavement cafes to while away the time watching the town folk about their business. Recently completely pedestrianised (2018), its a wonderful town which then extends along its main High Street down to the port/marina & funfair & buzzing restaurants! I promise, you will not be disappointed with this Hidden Jewel in the Crown of Spain

Summary: A very warm welcome from the owner who greeted us at the property. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable with all facilities in full working order. A great place stay and happy to recommend to anyone interested in holidaying in San Pedro and wider area. We hope to return in 2020.

Summary: Lots of good pre arrival information and advice and contact with Peter the host. The house is as described and has more than enough bedding, towels and utensils for a self catering stay. However, there are eateries nearby and more a reasonable walk away in the town and Lo Pagan. Lots of places do Menu del Día for between 9 & 12 € and these are great value. It is a very flat area so easy to go for lots of walks to explore. There is heating and air-conditioning so you can stay all year round. TV and internet are good but I would have liked an HDMI port to access my own content. All in all a good place to stay in a good if undiscovered part of Spain.

Summary: Peter the landlord met us on arrival and was extremely helpful. We stayed for 3 months over the winter and it was fab although chilly once the sun went down. Some of the furniture is dated, mainly the sofas but this does feel like home from home, as it was fully equipped and had a large flat screen English TV and helped with the location and friendly neighbours. There is a small garden at the front where the sun shines during the day from late morning and listening to the birds is just absolute heaven! The house is in a fab location within walking distance albeit about 30 mins away but lovely walks to the beautiful Salinas, Mediterranean, Lo Pogan and Mohon. San Pedro itself is about 15 minutes walk with shops and bars. There are 3 bars locally one of which is very popular with the English and two restaurants. I highly highly recommend hiring bikes as there are so many beautiful coastal rides and all flat so an absolute pleasure in the Spanish sunshine, we cycled miles and we'd not ridden bikes for years!

Summary: Property was very clean, tidy with all the comfort and facilities expected of a quality holiday home. The owner met us on arrival and was very helpful both in terms of the house facilities, but also the area for things to do. They left us contact details in case of need which was a further comfort. Great holiday and fully recommend to other travellers.

Summary: We had a great break in a really impressive holiday home , located on the beautiful Mar Menor. The area is great , hired a couple of bikes, its flat and a bike ride every day was ideal. The beaches are lovely and spacious, the Mar Menor lagoon is so worth exploring. its a perfect location for any kind of holiday , beachside, bike riding, exploring. Public transport is amazing (compared to the UK !) cheap and top quality buses. Plenty of beach bars , restaurants , amazing fun fair for the kids. This is the best area in Spain we have visited ! As for the house , what can i say . Its immaculate , spacious (certainly for 2 or 4 ) , everything you need is there for a home from home holiday . The arrival and departure process was simple and the lady who looks after the house for Peter the owner (Julie) was so helpful and gave us some great local tips . No car hire needed - as all is nearby ! It was perfect break for us in every way . We plan to book the same house again next year as really loved the area and the immaculate house ! The nearby park and its cafeteria were also great (1,20euro coffee , 1,50 euro a pint !!) . I hope Brexit doesnt change all of that !! 5 out of 5 and fully recommended !!

Summary: Great location, close to all amenities including landscaped botanical gardens within 100 yards of the property. The house is spacious, well equiped with modern appliances and provides a very comfortable place to stay. It was very clean. Whilst we played golf we also visited the harbours, beaches and nature reserve all within walking distance of the house, as are many eateries. We were met on arrival by we presume the owner who showed us round the property and how all the equipment worked. They also provided us with contact details in case of unforeseen circumstances which was not needed. All our party really enjoyed their stay in the house and intend returning in 2019 to play more golf courses.

Summary: Unfortunately, this property did not meet our expectations particularly well. There were lots of equipment and stuff in the house, but the furnitures was worn out and very uncomfortable - the sofas almost impossible to sit in. The sun appeared only in late afternoon. The cleaning was unsatisfactory and things like the washing machine and the vacuum cleaners were in practice useless. Next time we will choose differently.

Summary: A fantastic holiday, a great location to stay as a base and fully recommend the accomodation to others. The property was very clean and provided all the facilities you would expect of your own home. We could not fault it. The host met us on arrival, explained all we needed to know to enjoy our stay and also provided contact details in case of any unforeseen events, which we did not need. We intend returning next year.........

Summary: Very good property and location. Lovely walk along the side of the salt lake down into San Pedro. Peter the owner is a great bloke to do business with. He is honest and truthful returned our deposit after inspection very promptly. House is well equipped and there was nothing we couldn't find we needed. Spare bedding and towels, plenty of hot water and a great shower downstairs. Bought the TV and internet package which worked well. Car is recommended if self catering as all the BIG supermarkets are a reasonable distance away. If eating out car not necessary as local bars,restaurants within walking distance. San Pedro itself is a great place for a holiday, big beach area, safe swimming and nice town to walk around. Be careful if you go to the market on Monday's there ARE pickpockets there. Suggest you just take small amount of cash in your pocket, no wallet or credit cards. Common sense really.

Summary: We had an interesting winter break of a month here. The house is well-placed for walks to the beaches & lagoon (just under a mile away), plus the salt flats were close at hand. Plenty of bird life, including flamingoes! We also visited the towns of Murcia & Cartagena, the latter has a wealth of Roman remains including an amphitheatre. We managed these trips from the local bus station, as we hadn't hired a car. We managed food shopping in the local Mercadona & Dia supermarkets, using the trusty shopping trolley provided (both about 15 mins walk away). We had nice meals in local Indian & Italian restaurants just round the corner from the house. All bars & cafes roundabout were friendly & reasonably priced. Peter, the owner was very helpful and gave us a guided tour when he picked us up from the airport. He also arranged for the return transfer to Murcia airport. The house is very well-equipped, in a quiet side road. The several neighbours we met were pleasant & would greet us in the street.
