Summary: We spent a lovely week in this beautiful house. We were three families, six adults and six children between 3 and14 years old. The house lived up to our expectations and needs. We had all the meals outside in the garden and spent a lot of time by the pool since it was a very hot week in July. We can also recommend a trip to Poitiers - a beautiful town, and the zip line-parc in Thuré.

Summary: The property is stunning and maintains a real sense of history and character, whilst being modern and comfortable to stay in. We stayed with a large group, 10 adults and 8 children (aged between 1 and 9) and had the best time. There are so many things for all, the pool, trampoline, table tennis and various swings scattered around the amazing, vast grounds. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, carefree break in the beautiful french countryside. Catherine and her partner were also very helpful and were very responsive with any questions we had before or during our stay. Lovely property, lovely hosts and would highly recommend. Thankyou Catherine for allowing us to experience your beautiful property.

Summary: We stayed here at the end of August and had 5 glorious days of sunshine, where the Pool was the star of the show... All the children and Grandchildren really enjoyed swimming and cooling off in the pool. The Garden and play facilities kept everyone amused.... The house is beautiful and quaint and well equipped. You really felt like you were staying in a family home complete with Antiques passed down through the generations.... There could have been more toilets, especially downstairs. The Kitchen was well equipped and able to cater for a large party. (the oven wasn't as hot as I am used to and I would have liked and some serving spoons. ) Overall it is a great Venue for a House Party. 16 of us lived here very comfortably for a week. Perhaps a Guide in English with Information about the house and the area would be beneficial. Also information about things to do locally would be good. (especially what to do on a wet day ?) Mme Clergeaud and her Family were very welcoming and relaxed about everything, ensuring we were happy. We enjoyed our holiday in their home very much. Merci beaucoup pour votre hospitalité.
