Overlooking pristine Lake Willoughby in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, nearly every room of our cottage has lake views, including the outstanding wrap-around covered porch that is ideal for relaxation, entertaining and watching the sunset. The cottage sleeps eight comfortably in 3 queen beds and two bunkbeds. Out the back door is a deck, firepit and spacious yard. Located a short walk from North beach, there is also a small private beach with mooring just across the road.
The cottage is on a private, dead-end road with no traffic except the few cottages past ours. Perfect for families with small children. It is a quiet, family-friendly atmosphere.
New ownership of updated classic 1920's cottage. Continued improvements in the works. We welcome back the renters from the past who have enjoyed the cottage for many years!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay very much. We are a family of five and a large dog and were very comfortable. The house is very spacious and well equipped. We had fun swimming and we brought paddle boards and used the canoe. We drove to the little private beach but it is easy to walk to it. The northern beach looked nice too even though we didn’t get a chance to go there on this trip.

Summary: We stayed with our two children (toddler and infant) and had a wonderful time. The property is as advertised and had everything we needed. So many outdoor toys and supplies! The private little beach area is a great bonus, and the two public beaches are great. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: Lots of room for the whole family. Beautiful view of the lake from a spacious porch. Very nice neighbors. Very clean and accommodating. Was nice not to have to bring our own bedding and towels, which you have to do with most rentals at Lake Willoughby. Wish we were on the lake, but everything else made up for it. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for the hospitality!

Summary: Great house for family. Common areas in the center, bed and baths at either end. And the front porch, fantastic! Private beach area is rocky, but water shoes for all ages helped. Access to a paddle boat, canoe and kayaks was fun. Beach variety close by at North or South ends of the lake. Only slight negatives were a large hornets’ nest at the back corner of the house near the garage and red ants in the back yard which prevented kids playing games out there. But they were so tired from water play all day, they were content to play with all the games inside! Great house, great location, great vacation! Thanks
