Summary: Feels like staying in an actual home and for less than 2 rooms in a decent hotel (which for our family of 4 was the only other option.) Appreciated the gated parking and prompt response from the property manager about a very tiny issue. Could use a bit more of a cleaning on door frames, but overall very clean and comfortable! Would recommend.

Summary: Worked great for our family trip down memory lane visiting our old haunts in St. Louis. Reminded me of the apartment buildings I lived in, with original hardwood floors, plaster walls, and all. Very convenient location to the Metro and Forest Park. The only drawbacks were the heat (top floor and probably some of the hottest days of the summer meant the A/C couldn't keep up) and the basement laundry. Housekeeping uses it from 10-3, but even then there were no washers/dryers open.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this 100+ year old walk-up. The unit is on the top floor in the back, one of six units, but we were never bothered by other residents. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. The unit was as pictured. We appreciated the clear instructions for check-up and departure. The windows had screens and worked well (good for the shoulder season between hot and cold temps). We appreciated the host leaving a few days worth of coffee, paper goods and dish washing supplies in addition to linens and towels. The WiFi was strong enough 98% of the time. Overall, a great stay.

Summary: We loved our time at Suites in the Lou. We happened to visit in a heat warning, but the hosts were quick to respond and bring extra AC units! There was also a severe storm and this building is so solid we didn't even HEAR it! Perfect spot to meet with a friend! Communication was great. We had all we needed! Very kid friendly, but just need to keep neighbors below in mind!
