"La Petite Grange"... our pretty stone built gite is situated in an elevated position on the limestone "causse" above the pretty village of St Martin Labouval, only 4 kilometres from the Lot river and a short distance from the Célé Valley .It is the perfect place from which to explore the delights of the "Parc Naturel Régional des Causses du Quercy " Nearby St.Cirq the prettiest village in France last year is only 8 kms away & Cahors, Figeac & Villefranche de Rouergue are all about 40 mins drive. The famous Peche Merle caves are about 15kms.
We have 2 acres of safe gardens with a 12 x 6 mtr shared pool & plenty of shady terraces in which to relax and enjoy your holiday.

Summary: Lovely, well coming hosts,fantastic area to explore

Summary: We spent a fabulous week here in August and definitely did not want to leave! The gite is excellently equipped and well presented. The grounds are beautiful with lots of space for children to run around and play. The swimming pool surrounded by the gardens and with views of fields was immaculately clean and a great place to spend sunny afternoons. Nearby there are plenty of walks including one down the lane to an amazing view of the limestone causses. Little touches like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets were much appreciated. We received a very warm welcome from the owners and nothing was too much trouble for them. Locally there are beautiful small towns and villages with markets and bike hire facilities and the town of Cajarc has supermarket and restaurants. St Cirq Lapopie is a must see. The highlight for our children was the owners' dog who became a firm family friend! If you want peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings, then you will love it here.

Summary: We found that La Petite Grange in the Lot Valley was very good accommodation. The owner was very helpful with online inquiries and arrangements for payment. The location was as described as was the accommodation. It was all very clean, well equipped and had plenty of space. The owner was very welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. It was one of the best properties we have stayed in in France. The pool area was very nice and clean. There were spectacular views over the valley. There were lots of walks in the neigbourhood. It was a good location for touring upstream and downstream along the valley and also on to the surrounding hills. There is swimming in the river and boating activities as well. There were good boat trips on the river. You would need a car there but there is lots to see on trips. The main town of Cahors, some 40 kms. to the west is very interesting.

Summary: The hosts are a lovely English couple who keep a beautiful home and property. The property is off the beaten track but within good driving distances to many wonderful sights, villages and walks. We opted to have a meal with them one night and it was not only delicious but well presented and generous.

Summary: From the warm greeting on arrival, to our departure, as if we were old friends, we cannot recommend this property and it’s patrons highly enough. The gite is located in a lovely setting and you feel as though you are far, far away from anywhere. The views are amazing and there is a feeling of peace and tranquility. However, it is actually very convenient to visit many places of interest and beauty, including the much acclaimed St Cirq la Poppie. The nearest small town, Cajarc, has excellent facilities, a beautiful historic centre and some excellent bars and restaurants. There is also a plan d’eau from where you can swim or take a canoe. The gite is clean and well equipped. It is nicely decorated and very comfortable. Indeed it felt like home from home. There is a very nice terrace if you like to eat outside as well as an inside dining area. The grounds, garden and pool are lovely. They are well maintained and cared for. We will definitely return to this property (probably time and time again) and would most certainly recommend it to family and friends.
