Summary: Beautiful property. We stayed in January and enjoyed the wood burning insert and comfy chairs and couch. The view was amazing even with the overcast weather. Very quiet, clean, had everything we needed. Far enough away from all the people, close enough to grocery stores, gas, coffee shops (and a lovely nursery).

Summary: Amazing property that is just renewed! Top of the line appliances, comfy bedroom and an AMAZING BEACH! We paddle boarded all day and just relaxed and enjoyed the days we stay there. Stephen is an amazing host!! We will definitely stay in the future

Summary: Beautiful accommodations in newly remodeled beach front home. Well-equipped kitchen, amazing views out of large windows in Great Room and the deck, quiet and serene setting with a great food market only 15 minutes away. Perfect place to relax and get away from the city. We brought our 3 kids and enjoyed kayaking, the SUPs, clam digging right on the beach, and enjoying the views right on the deck. Also had a trampoline and plenty of space for the kids to explore. Can’t wait to come back again!

Summary: We had never spent any time on the Key Peninsula before this and were pleasantly amazed by the area around Filucy Bay (where Stephen's property is located) is not only beautiful and tranquil, but literally the quietest place we've been in a very long time. There are occasional evening flyovers from JBLM (McCord AFB), but they are a chance to see some slightly exotic aircraft passing above, and don't last long. Stephen was kind enough to allow us in when the listing went up on VRBO sooner than expected, and before he had every detail wrapped up. Basically we begged him, and he was very helpful getting us situated. I am sure that the place will soon be buttoned up, and any outstanding details are quite minor. Upon arrival the house presents as a typical Puget Sound beach cottage, a bit funky on the outside but nicely sited. When you open the door the immediate impression is that the interior has been beautifully and tastefully renovated. I am sure that several walls were removed and the resulting floor plan is thoughtfully laid out with a kitchen that is both functional and beautiful (concrete countertops, stainless steel appliances and plumbing fixtures). The warm-brown ceiling, dark-brown cabinets and grey countertop are tasteful and very well organized.The one bedroom has a very comfortable queen-size (?) bed and an additional sleeping loft. The bathroom walls are finished with large white ceramic tiles and the "vanity" is a couple of fir beam segments - beautiful and functional. Delightful colored floor tiles and an excellent shower. The hot water is from a tankless heater, which works fine for showers but can be a challenge if you want a bath. We immediately felt at home and that we were in a place that just felt good to be in. There is a generous porch (semi-covered) with comfortable wicker-style furniture and a waterproof-membrane surface. Glass panels with a wood top rail are the guardrails, which open up the view of the water. The view is to the east with Mt. Rainier poking up above the ridge on an adjacent spit of land. The primary view is of Filucy Bay and the spits of land that form it, and directly across to McNeil Island. We kayaked and motor-boated around the bay-delightfu. It was a wonderful place to stay and we will absolutely be back. Highly recommended.

Summary: We had a great time at the house. It's very clean and nicely done. The view was spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at the ocean, kayaking, finding creatures on the beach. The kids loved the swirl chairs. The listing says 4 beds and sleeps 5 which is a bit misleading. It has two beds and a pull-out bed. Overall we enjoyed our stay, would recommend it!
