Our Pleasure Point beach house is conveniently located halfway between the famous Santa Cruz boardwalk and the quaint village of Capitola. We are located three blocks from the ocean cliffs, with access to some of the best surfing and more private beaches in Santa Cruz. We are also a short walk to the cafes, restaurants, and surf shops on 41st Ave. Relax in our sunny and very private backyard. Enjoy the Adirondack chairs, outdoor shower, outdoor gas grill, dining on the patio, and soaking in the 6-person hot tub.
We continually refurbish our beach house inside and out, while keeping its original bungalow charm. We have top of the line appliances (LG fridge, front loader washer/dryer), an indoor/outdoor Bose stereo system, and we have high speed internet, local HDTV, and Netflix. There is room for 4 people to sleep on beds, and in addition, we have space for 1 adult on the couch, portable crib, and an aero bed. Our home is super family and kid friendly, and equipped with a lot of what you would want for a family vacation at the beach such as cruiser bikes, kids bikes, helmets, a red wagon, boogie boards, beginner surf boards, beach chairs/umbrella, plus hammock in the backyard.
Pleasure Point is our favorite place on the California Central Coast to enjoy the beach and the beautiful surrounding areas, from redwood forests to wine country. We look forward to sharing our beach house with you!

Summary: This is the perfect location in my honest opinion- it’s the best neighborhood in Santa Cruz! The house is welcoming and stocked with everything you need. Eric and Carol are excellent hosts and quick to respond with anything we needed. Our dog loved the yard and her daily walks to the beach and it was such a treat to have her with us. Vacationing with your dog is the best!

Summary: The house is beautiful in a great location in Pleasure point neighborhood! It has everything you could want for entertaining: hot tub, gas grill, Traeger smoker, fireplace, great living room, outdoor dining. Open space fenced in is perfect for dogs. The pictures are accurate, but it’s better in person. Owner was extremely kind and responsive. Thank you for an amazing stay, it’s one my family will remember!

Summary: We instantly felt at home and relaxed when we got to Camp Oso! Great location and stocked with everything we needed. We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub was lovely and super clean. The hammock and porch swing added to the relaxed vibe and the lawn games were great for some family fun. Nightly walks with our dog along the cliffs was a highlight along with surfing down in Capitola. Some of our favorite restaurants were in walking distance and shopping is always fantastic along 41st street. We can’t wait to come back to Camp Oso!

Summary: Location, location, location! This great little beach shack is located within easy walking distance of East Cliff walkway, beaches, surfing, coffee, food, shops, fitness and more. We loved being able to get to everything by foot or by the bikes provided on site. The beach house is small, charming and homey. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and clean hot tub. Any questions we had were quickly and patiently answered. We hope to retire to the beach life someday and this gave us a perfect taste of what that would be like. And yes, it was perfection!
