Summary: Amazing and unique property in a small, beautiful town near lake. Wonderful experience from check in until the end. Staff is very friendly and helpful, some even speak Croatian which was great for us. Car parking is for surcharge but it is in the underground garage which is connected to the hotel so you can easily get out and get in and visit the nearby towns or lakes in Italy. It wasn't too crowded so we also got a free upgrade for our honeymoon. Thanks again to the staff! The spa & wellness area is extremely modern and clean. Real enjoyment and relaxation. I especially liked the sauna “aufguss” show which is every hour on weekends. It can be seen that it is done by professionals and that everything is up to five star standard. Breakfast very rich and tasty. All in all for every recommendation! A royal experience in a real castle!

Summary: Everything about the hotel was first class. We booked the junior suite and it was beautiful. Used the spa and pool and ate in the restaurant. Everything was really nice!

Summary: We spent 2 nights at the Schloss as part of a wedding anniversary trip. With the Schloss Velden what you see on the promotional material, as stunning as it is, still does not do justice to the quality of the environment or the facilities. It was low season and so the town and hotel were very quiet. This meant that we had the huge, incredibility well-appointed spa to ourselves for much of the time. The staff were were highly professional while being friendly and approachable at the same time. Our room was in the older section of the hotel and beautiful. There were a number of unexpected technology features, including a television screen in the mirror of the bathroom, the shower had to be seen to be believed. This sort of quality does not come cheaply but it was not extortionate and felt like it was worth every euro.
