Positive: The situation of the cottage was great, very peaceful. Room sizes were great, but would have liked a hairdryer plug closer to the mirror. Everywhere was very clean. Views from the cottage are lovely. I liked the hosts taste in furnishings but felt it needed a little more of a ‘cosy’feel, perhaps rearranging the settees so that they weren’t right against the walls. Dishwasher was fab, plenty big enough for two with an appropriate amount of cutlery, crockery and glasses. We are grateful that the hosts responded effectively and quickly to our requests to supply missing necessities.

Negative: The lighting in the lounge isn’t ‘cosy’. It’s either too bright or too dark. Would suggest a standard light for reading. Coat hooks in the porch would be a great addition. The lack of a place to sit and dry your hair in front of a mirror in the bedroom.The room was plenty big enough to allow for this. Felt that the hosts communication prior to the visit was minimal and that the check in time was not flexible.

Summary: A lovely cottage in a good location! Very peaceful!

Positive: Beautiful, clean, well equipped cottage that had everything needed for a short break. Lovely bedroom, warm and cosy throughout, large kitchen and enclosed garden for the dog. Perfect.

Positive: immaculate cottage, clean, comfortable, tastefully furnished and decorated. It had everything one needs and we just loved it, we wished we'd been staying longer it was so nice.

Positive: The cottage is beautifully presented and had everything we needed - dvds, games, walking guides, fully equipped kitchen, large enclosed garden for our dogs, ample supply of wood for the log burner. The rooms are large and very comfortable for 2 people and our 2 large dogs. There are lovely walks in and around Comrie, easily reached on foot from the cottage, with many more walks and hills accessible within a short drive. We used the local shops for day to day items and found everyone to be pleasant and friendly. I have no hesitation recommending Fairness Cottage and would definitely stay here again.

Summary: A very relaxing short break in a beautiful countryside setting.

Positive: The attention to detail was good. Equipment in the kitchen was excellent. There was even a toast rack! The linen was of good quality. Kindling, matches, gloves and logs were there for the log-burner The cottage was well set up. Clear instructions were provided for all the amenities.

Negative: We drove past the entrance, despite satnav, but resorted to what3words and got there. The sign could be more prominant at the road side. The fridge made a lot of noise.

Summary: We had a delightful stay at Fairviews and would visit again. Thanks to our host.
