Summary: This property is exquisite! The staff went above & beyond to make our stay so lovely. The room & grounds were very well maintained and luxurious. We took advantage of the beautiful private beach that is teaming with tropical fish & sea turtles. 10 out of 10!

Summary: We stayed here for our 10 year wedding anniversary and our stay was fantastic. Our ocean view room had a great view of the golf course and ocean. There is a private beach and the pool is open 24/7. The gold experience was top notch and we felt well taken care of. I believe the hotel is great without the gold but the gold put it over the top. We would stay here again with or without gold.

Summary: They upgraded us to a suite for our honeymoon. The rooms are newly redone and are so beautiful and thoughtful. The Gold experience made us feel like royalty, although I would think it would maybe include some parking perks or pool perks. The grounds of the hotel were outstanding. First time I ever thought - I would travel specifically to stay at another fairmont hotel.

Summary: Fairmont Gold at Kona is an an outstanding venue. People are trained, courteous and efficient. The price-value relationship is a winner. Comment, the beautiful tile floor in the shower was so slick neither my wife nor I dared use the shower. We are both healthy by the way, wanted to stay that way. A simple synthetic shower mat would be all that would have been needed.

Summary: The property was gorgeous and the views of the water were spectacular. We had an ocean view room that was worth the upgrade, and the beachside restaurants took full advantage of the views. We paid extra for the Gold package and the service was outstanding. Staff were friendly, helpful, and timely the making sure the breakfast, snacks, and evening appetizers were set up. Fitness center was top notch and concierge services at the resort made some high quality recommendations that saved us time and resulted in a great experience. The location of the resort in the Mauna Lani area near Kona is close to shopping and restaurants but far enough away that the grounds are serene and peaceful. Highly recommend the property and the upgrade to the Gold package.

Summary: The property is on a secluded beach about a half hour from Kona. The Gold Orchid Lounge was really nice and included breakfast and appetizers as well as juice, coffee and water. Most of the staff were excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The beach was a great place to watch sunset. It is close to Blue Hawaiian helicopter tours. We tried the restaurant Brown’s beach house. The ambiance with live music was nice.
