Summary: I have been looking forward to staying here for several years. Unfortunately, it was not as I had anticipated. We arrived late on Thursday night/Friday morning. When we checked in I asked the front desk about 24 hour room service that is not a thing. I asked if I could get a glass of milk sent up and he said he would arrange that for me. It never arrived. The room service menu dish description s do not match what we ordered. They didn’t serve cream with the coffee. The windows in our room were filthy and our room was not vacuumed once on 4 days. I am really disappointed. The staff we encountered however were very nice and friendly.

Summary: Standard of service was lower than at other Fairmont locations I have visited previously. Large stain on the carpet in the room, however it was a busy long weekend and maybe they didn’t have time to clean between guests. There are many families who stay at this resort. This is a good thing if you are staying with children, but perhaps a negative if you are looking to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Summary: Fabulous hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone knew me and called me by name. They all remembered I was in town for the Whistler Half Marathon and asked me about my race and excursions I was on. Either they have phenomenal memories or they keep notes on a common database. Either way it creates a wonderful guest experience. The ambiance in the restaurants was wonderful. The food was absolutely fabulous. It’s a short walk to the village center and the shuttle service is convenient if you don’t want to walk. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return again.

Summary: Exceeded our expectations. We had picture perfect weather in early June, and enjoyed many of our meals outdoors such as the hotel patio restaurant, or portobello next door for endless coffees and breakfasts. We were sad to leave and head to Vancouver for the last half of our vacation.

Summary: This hotel is absolutely wonderful! The hotel grounds are stunning and offer so many things to do all around the hotel. The pool, spa, restaurants, and bar are top notch and really give you a spa resort experience! All of the food that we ate at the hotel restaurants and bar were so delicious that we often choose them over other locations in Whistler village. The village area, gondolas, trails, lakes, shoppers, etc is right here! In addition to all of the things above, one of the very BEST things about this hotel experience was the amazing service, advice/recommendations, and extra services that the staff provided to our family. The helped us add another nights stay, late checkout, recommendations for biking, hiking, food, trails, discounts on rentals, and was so wonderful to my son with extra cookie treats when he was looking for something sweet. Not only can I not wait to come back to Whistler, but I look forward to staying here again! This hotel is wonderful!
