Summary: This hotel is nice. On both mornings of our stay, some of the tables in the dining room were dirty, as if something had spilled and not wiped up. The bathrooms are nice but the tub is very slippery. The desk provided a bath mat, upon request.

Summary: The Goshen property, in spite of being one of the newest hotels in the town has become decidedly shabby. I normally message the GM to share my concerns but I have decided to leave a contemporaneous account of my stay. We checked in late and were assigned room 405. I noticed the bathroom needed maintenance. The fact that bathroom door does close fully and does not lock is no small issue. Housekeeping would have noticed it. The hook behind the bathroom door became unlatched and near broke my toe. Out of the two breakfast staff the elderly lady was rude and untrained. I wanted to take some items to my room and asked her if she had any boxes that I could use. Without any greeting she glared rudely at me and lectured me about there not being a take out service and pointed me to the plates! The worst case was the night receptionist response when I asked her if there was any bar of soap as there was a tiny one left that fell apart in after a couple of uses. Granted that we didn’t have housekeeping service that day, she lectured me about using the shower gel instead. No apology, no service - just as if the staff have no clue as to who funds their earnings or the notion of serving a customer in a hospitality establishment. I won’t return again.

Summary: This place needs to coordinate with their local fire department. Midnight evacuations, smoke alarms blaring and lights flashing, screaching alarms, being forced out into the rain with not even an apology, instead I was thanked with 1 am calls asking if there is a fire in my room, on 2 consecutive nights.

Summary: The grounds and the hotel were clean. The room was ample is size without feeling crammed in. The only discomfort was the mattress, it was bit more firm than we are used to.

Summary: Our remote controller wouldn’t work and the man at the desk said there weren’t any others available so we used one from our families room next door. Had a spider in the bathroom. Was noisy from trains in the night. Would not stay here again. The breakfast was nice.
