Dear Guest, my name is Dimitry Kalinin. I am an Airbnb/VRBO Superhost/Premier Host with 100% 5-star reviews. Please have a look at my London home where I have lived for over 20 years.
My home is set over two floors. The entrance level is on the first floor (UK) of the building, twenty stairs from ground level. There is no lift (elevator).
The front door opens into the well equipped kitchen/dining area which has Miele appliances, including Miele washer/dryer; adjoining it is the comfortable living area. Spiral stairs lead up to the second level with a master bedroom, shower room and media room (the second bedroom). This media room opens onto a delightfully lush balcony with two chairs and table.
-The master bedroom has a UK King Size bed.
-The second bedroom has a UK King Size sofa bed with a Memory Foam Mattress Topper.
-The pillows are a choice of down filled or memory foam.
-The duvets are down filled.
-The beds are fitted with The White Company London, Symons 1,000-thread-count, high-quality 100% Egyptian cotton sateen bed linen.
-Two Dyson purifier fans.
-The towels (face cloths, hand and body) are also premium 100% Egyptian cotton.
-Perfect shower experience with GROHE SmartControl: push, turn, shower.
-There is ample storage and hanging space.
-Two Smart TV’s (65" and 55") have access to Apple TV Plus, Netflix, Disney Plus, Sky Plus, Paramount Plus, BBC iPlayer, ITV, Chanel 4.
-Sonos Music system with Apple Music.
-The kitchen includes Miele dishwasher, oven and microwave, and fully equipped with a large range of cooking implements (blender, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine etc), crockery, quality glassware, and a selection of cooking oils, herbs and spices for your use.
-I can provide a travel cot (for one infant) upon request.
On your doorstep:
The apartment is in a quiet mews (street), less than 10 minutes walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, and literally across the street from Paddington Station with five Underground lines in addition to the new Elizabeth Line and the Heathrow Express. Kensington Palace is approximately 15 minutes walk, and the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum are all approximately 25 minutes walk, or a short trip from Paddington Station on the Underground. Notting Hill and the famous Portobello Road market are a 25 minute walk, or two stops on the Underground from Paddington. Covent Garden and Soho (Tottenham Court Road Station) is an 8 minute journey on the new Elizabeth Line. Harrods in Knightsbridge is a 30 minute walk across the park, or easily accessed by the Underground.
Home truth:
-There is no air-conditioning in the apartment. There are two Dyson purifier fans.
-The home has spiral stairs (see photos), which may not be suitable for small children and some guests or overly large suitcases.
Parking: as is the case everywhere in the UK car parking is controlled by the local Council which for us is Westminster City Council. Please search on the internet for Westminster parking around Paddington Station.

Summary: The unit was super convenient to Paddington Station so you can easily get anywhere when you stay here. The neighborhood is nice. There is a easy walk to Hyde Park. The host gave great information ahead of our stay and checked in with us throughout. We stayed during Christmas and they put up a tree. The unit has everything you need and a well appointed kitchen if you want to make any meals. Perfect flat for 4 or less travelers.

He definitely went above and beyond many of our host experiences. The flat was perfect - and an incredibly easy hop over to Paddington station - to make travel around town quite easy. Summary: If VRBO would employ a person to teach hosts how to be exceptional, that person would be Dimitry our host for this lovely property. From the day we booked, he was informative, kind, and attentive. The home is in a beautiful secluded mews literally 200 feet from Paddington Station, which allows you with trains and Tube to travel everywhere in London with great ease. Also, the Elizabeth and Heathrow Express lines deliver you practically to your door from Heathrow, which is a huge plus. The apartment is well-appointed and truly cozy with comfortable furniture. Dimitry has taken great care in making it extremely easy to use with everything you need. The bedrooms and bath are very comfortable with fluffy linens and towels. The shower is beautiful, and there is plenty of counterspace in the bathroom to place your things. All in all, the most convenient and comfortable place we have ever rented. Would never think to stay anywhere else in London!

Summary: We stayed at Dimitry's place for 3 nights and it was an amazing experience for my family and I. Dimitry went over and above my expectations from the consistent communication before, during and even after my trip. He provided recommendations for the area and we took him up this and was not disappointed. The flat was clean and comfortable and check out/check in was seamless. Location was the big call out. Short walking distance to multiple subway lines as well as the rail but also walking distance to many tourist hot spots. I would highly recommended this place to all and would rebook with no hesitation if I ever get the opportunity to visit London again.

Summary: Our trip to London was a graduation gift to our 17yr old granddaughter and this place was such a positive addition to the experience. Dimitry is the ULTIMATE host. He contacted us several times before our stay to make sure that everything would go smoothly and once we arrived he gave us wonderful suggestions for how to spend our very limited time in the city. The location (literally a block from Paddington Station) makes all of London and the environs totally accessible. We will ABSOLUTELY stay here again.
