Enjoy one of the finest lakefront properties on one of the cleanest, most pristine lakes in Vermont. Soak in both sunrises and sunsets as you relax at your vacation home located on a peninsula surrounded by water on 3 sides. Swim off the large platform dock, fish for bass or trout from the dock or canoe provided. Two kayaks are also available.
Enjoy a fire in our firepit by the lake, or in the fieldstone fireplace indoors on a chilly evening. (firewood provided).

Originally a charming cabin built in the 1930s, it has been renovated and expanded, providing modern convenience while preserving that rustic feel. Gourmet kitchen, breakfast nook, fieldstone fireplace, charming screened-in porch, barbecue, laundry, wireless internet.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay!! We had kids ages 6mo-12yr and they loved it! They spent the whole day swimming in the lake and enjoyed canoeing. The weather was over 80 but we were very comfortable with the breeze through the windows. The views are stunning! The beds we also very comfortable and we utilized the kitchen and grill with no issues.

Summary: The location and cottage were amazing. We did a lot of activities in the rain: walk, fish, boating and lawn games. Absolutely wonderful place for a family weekend. We had plenty of space inside and out.

Summary: My husband and I did a long weekend away for our anniversary. Neither of us have ever been to Vermont so we figured we’d give it a try. The property is as described. Its a beautiful house, extremely clean, kitchen was very well stocked, and the house was extremely comfortable. Did not realize there was no TV completely missed that in the description however we did have my iPad and a speaker so we were able to watch TV. There is not much to do in the area in May however unless you have good days for hiking, which we did not it rained every day . But I’m sure in the summer when you can use the lake more and in the fall when they have different events as well as winter with the skiing, there would be so much more to do there. But if you want a very nice quiet time away without hustle and bustle, this is a perfect spot. We are hoping to go back during one of the other seasons, either summer or fall to experience a different time of year..

Summary: We stayed 6 days, my wife, daughter and friend, and our two dogs. Roomy and clean, very beautiful cottage. Fully appointed kitchen with all the supplies one needs. We built a fire in the big handsome fireplace, also with all the tools needed. We appreciated the choice of two dining areas, we pretty much stuck to the breakfast nook. Every morning we dropped the girls at Jay Peak, then myself, wife and dogs, hiked, relaxed, napped and enjoyed the quiet. Would love to do it again!

Summary: The house is situated at the end of a point on lovely Lake Eden. We felt like we had the lake all to ourselves to enjoy in the mid-winter! We had a glorious sunny day to play outdoors with our dog, and the house was cozy and warm. We used the wood fireplace for ambiance and happily read our books. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances all work well. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms clean. The mudroom entrance is perfect for wet boots and all of your gear. We had all that we needed and felt like we were truly out in the country!
