Summary: Our stay at Abbey Farm was just amazing! I was over with a group of Italian students to learn more about English life and culture, and their experience in this beautiful, historical house was perfect. The house is spacious with quirky attic rooms, and a spectacular garden. It's beautifully furnished with fireplaces, vases of flowers, pictures, books etc, so it really feels like a home. There was everything we needed, including a chess table and table football, so the kids had a lot of fun. We were welcomed by Angela, who left us lots of basics, including a lovely welcome food and drinks gift. Basically, you couldn't wish for more. Thank you!

Summary: The home was warm and inviting when we arrived and there was a lovely welcome package waiting for us, which was very much appreciated. The property was very comfortable, cosy and well catered for with lovely log fires. Also a very large garden. Angie has prepared carefully for guests in the current coronvirus conditions and changes the cushions and throws on each visit, which is great to know. Lovely place - thanks! Helen

Summary: This is a place of wonder, equally suitable for early morning birders to sleepy heads who want to curl up in front of a winter fire with a book or some friends. The kitchen is so well appointed you won’t remember where everything goes. The rooms are individual. Be gentle with the plumbing and careful on the stairs.

Summary: Abbey Farm is a fantastic property and our party of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen. Every room is really well furnished and very comfortable. The small touches like the welcome pack and toiletries in each bathroom make it a higher standard than other similar houses we've stayed in. The gardens are delightful with several areas to sit and relax, BBQ and dine outside with plenty of room for children to run around around and play. Of the 9 properties our party have stayed at in the last few years this is by far the nicest and most comfortable and we are definitely going to return next year for our annual family weekend away. Many many thanks for letting us enjoy this fantastic house.
